LUANA HIDALGO  (Ballet) a native of Maracaibo, Venezuela Ms. Luana began studying ballet at age 5.  She was a member of Ballet de Maracaibo, Ballet Nuevo Mundo de Caracas, Cleveland Ballet, and San Jose Ballet. She has performed all classic repertoire from Petipa to Fokine and Balanchine as well as modern works including Vicente Nebrada, Alvin Ailey, among many others. She began teaching at the Cleveland San Jose Ballet School and later, at the Nevada Ballet Theater and Ballet San Jose. Not only has Ms. Luana dedicated her teaching career specializing as a Ballet teacher for the very young students, but also as a teacher for the adult student. In 1995 she was awarded "Best Classical Ballerina" in Venezuela and she received the honor of the " City of Avignon " in France. Ms. Luana also serves as Ballet Mistress for our ballet company Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida for the outreach educational programs at the public schools of the area and teaches the classes for the adults in the evening. Ms. Luana follows the Vaganova Method and is a very loving teacher with the very young student as she is very strict and disciplined teacher to the more advanced student.


MARY CARMEN CATOYA, ( Ballet Repertoire and Variations ) Prima ballerina of Miami was born in Venezuela. She began her training at the age of six in Caracas and began her professional career at the age of 13. She danced with the Youth Ballet of Venezuela, the Contemporary Ballet of Caracas, Cleveland Ballet and as a principal with the National Ballet of Caracas, where she was coached and trained by Ballet Master Vladimir Issaev. She danced as a principal at the Miami City Ballet from 1999 to 2015. Her repertoire includes works of George Balanchine, Vicente Nebrada, Dennis Nahat, Alberto Mendez and Vladimir Issaev. Ms. Catoya has danced extensively abroad at many festivals and galas, including an international gala before the King and Queen of Spain, the inauguration of the Theater Simon Bolivar in Brazil, Dance Aspen, and the Gala of Stars at the Festival International de Santander and was the prima ballerina responsible to open the Arsht Center in Miami with her interpretation of Don Quixote.  She has also dancer at the Gala Night at the Mikhailovsky Theater in Saint Petersburg, Russia and at the Orlando Competition Gala of the Stars. She has danced with both Taras Domitro and Daniel Sarabia in Queretaro, Mexico and with Rolando Sarabia at the Fire Island Festival in New York City.
In July 2011 she was the prima ballerina for Les etes de la Danse at the theatre du Chatelet in Paris with Miami City Ballet.
She received the award "Premio Casa del Artista" as Best Classical Dancer of the Year in 1999  and Premio Municipal de Danza 2002 as best dancer.
Mary Carmen have been coached and trained by remarkable artists such as Jose Pares, Vicente Nebrada, Vladimir Issaev, Rafael Portillo, Zane Wilson Karelia Moreno, Elena Madan Vera at the Ballet Nacional de Caracas, Dennis Nahat at Cleveland Ballet, Ileana Lopez, Violette Verdy, Jean Pierre Frohlich, Maria Cagliari, Mary Ashley and Edward Villella at Miami City Ballet.
Most recently she performed in Poland, Mexico and Indonesia next to her ballet master Vladimir Issaev
Ms. Catoya is the principal dancer of Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida.

LILLIAN WINTER HILL ( Ballet ) began her training at Pro-Am Dance Studio at a very young age. She furthered her classical ballet training with Magda Aunon at Fort Lauderdale Ballet Classique. While attending Dillard Canter for the Performing Arts as a dance major, she worked as an apprentice with Jubilee Dance Theater.  Upon graduation she joined the Richmond Ballet and began working towards a BFA in dance at Virginia Commonwealth University.  Some of her greatest achievements include performing Dew Drop in the Nutcracker and for the Prince of Saudi Arabia. She joined Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida in 2011 and has danced solo roles in Issaev's Harlequinade, Fairy Doll, The Nutcracker, El Encuentro, Le Corsaire, Chipollino, Donizetti Variations, Fragmentos by Edgar Anido, Danzon by Yanis Pikieris, Pentimento by Vicente Nebrada and Tarde en la Siesta with music of Lecuona and choreography by Alberto Mendez. She has performed Vladimir Issaev's piece Fuga con Pajarillo at the Latin Choreographers Festival in New York in 2012 and toured with the company to Peru, Germany and Indonesia. Ms. Lilly has a great approach with the young ballet student following the Vaganova method with high discipline.

RUZANA IREMASHVILI ( Ballet and Character) Ruzana was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. In 1991 she started her ballet studies at the V. Chabukiani’s Tbilisi State Choreographic College. She graduated in 1999 as a ballet artist. Immediately she joined the State Ballet of Georgia where she danced soloist roles in Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Laurencia, Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet touring with the company to Israel, China and Armenia. Additionally Ruzana attended the Tbilisi State University of Culture where she obtained her Major as a Ballet and Character Dance teacher and choreographer. This is her sixth year at Vladimir Issaev School of Classical Ballet. From 2002 and until 2010, she was a member of the famous Georgia Ballet conducted by Nina Ananiashvili. Ms. Ruzana joined Vladimir Issaev School of Classical Ballet in 2012. She is teaching Character Dance as part of the Vaganova Program of our organization and essential to the curriculum of the school. Her creativity and artistry make her an outstanding teacher for children all ages. Ms. Ruzana is also teaching the classes for the adults in the mornings.


PATRICIA LAINE ( Tap ) Patricia Laine Romero, was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1978. The granddaughter of Aldemaro Romero, she started her training at a very young age. She trained in Jazz, Tap, Voice and Musical Theater at Escuela Voces Blancas de Elisa Soteldo. In 1998 she was accepted to the National Theater School of Venezuela where she studied theater, dance and acting for TV. She also studied Music at the Conservatorio de Música de Caracas and the Jose Lorenzo Llamozas Conservatory and Dance at the National Contemporary Dance School. Patricia has experience as a child actor as TV children program host in Venezuela next to the great Simon Diaz andshe has an extensive experience on stage in Musical Theater. Patricia has a degree in Child Psychology and she is pursuing her second degree in Music Therapy. Her students love her enthusiasm and creativity. She is a favorite among the youngest tappers.


JORGE ROBLEDO ( Flamenco) Jorge Robledo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he trained in dance and theater. Later he relocates to Spain where he trains with different teachers and choreographers. He has performed on the most outstanding stages world wide and with the most prestigious artists such as Rocio Jurado, Isabel Pantoja among others. He continues to perform with the most prestigious Flamenco companies in South Florida. Jorge teaches only at selected locations in Miami, among them Vladimir Issaev School of Classical Ballet and is also part of the faculty of the Summer Intensive Program of Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida. Mr. Robledo has great charisma and passion and he achieves the students to learn quickly the art of Flamenco as long as the student is committed to his classes


KAYCI RODRIGUEZ (Ballet) She started taking ballet lessons at a very young age at Vladimir Issaev School of Classical Ballet. At age 7 she was promoted to begin her training with Vladimir Issaev following the Vaganova Syllabus Method. As a professional dancer of Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, she dances and continues her training with Vladimir Issaev. She has been attending all Summer Intensive Programs of Russian Technique since 2009 where she received additional training in Ballet and Character with faculty from the Vaganova Ballet Academy, Modern, Pilates and Flamenco. Kayci has an extensive experience on stage, dancing the most challenging classical and neo classical repertoire. She has also been fortunate to have been invited to participate in the International young dancers Festival in Miami, Mexico, Poland and Indonesia. She had the honors of dancing during the Choreographers Festival in New York. Ms. Kayci is proud to continue the legacy of the high discipline learned with her Ballet Master and mentor Vladimir Issaev. She is great with the young children and a role model for the older student.

RENEE ROBERTS ( Ballet and Modern/Contemporary ) She started her ballet training with Vladimir Issaev when she was four years old. During her years with the school she performed roles such as Snow Queen and Dew Drop in "The Nutcracker," Winter and Fall in "The Seasons," as well as other original classical works by Mr. Issaev that were performed in both Poland and Germany with the professional company Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida. She continued her training with the dance department at Butler University, performing in classical pieces such as Gerald Arpino's "Viva Vivaldi” and Finger Fairy in “Sleeping Beauty,” as well as modern works like Paul Taylor's "Le Sacre du Printemps (The Rehearsal),” and an original contemporary work, "Displacements" choreographed by Marek Cholewa (faculty) which was performed at the International Concert of Schools of Dance in Bratislava. She graduated cum laude majoring in dance performance with a minor in gender studies, and received the Lynnette Jordan Schisla scholarship. Renee Roberts has come back to her teacher and mentor Vladimir Issaev, to continue his legacy and is a proud teacher of the Vaganova Method. Furthermore she is a great example of achievements in dance due to the high discipline and commitment to the world of ballet. Ms. Roberts is an outstanding Modern teacher and is also part of the faculty of the Summer Intensive Programs of Russian Technique.


LUSIAN HERNANDEZ ( Ballet, Stretch ) was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela where she started her ballet training at 7 years of age at the Fundacion Escuela de Ballet Clasico del Edo. Lara. She has participated in many local and international dance festivals including the Festival Danza Joven in Colombia in 2009 and has been awarded several times with scholarships from programs such as the Metropolitan Ballet Theatre in Minneapolis where she attended in 2008. In 2010 she was awarded Bronze medal at the International Ballet Competition in Caracas, Venezuela repeating the same accolade for 2011. After attending the Summer Intensive Program of Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida in 2011, she was invited by Vladimir Issaev to join the company's apprentice program. Since then she has performed the repertoire of the company including Yanis Pikieris Danzon, and Issaev's Nutcracker, Chipollino and Suite of Waltzes among many more. She is now a professional dancer of the company and she started working in the modeling field. Her extreme flexibility has allowed to learn more about the human body’s capabilities. She has taught stretch classes during the Summer Intensive Program and she is also a coach for the young participants in ballet competitions.
