LUANA HIDALGO (Musical Kinder, Ballet 1, Ballet 2) a native of Maracaibo, Venezuela Ms. Luana began studying ballet at age 5. She was a member of Ballet de Maracaibo, Ballet Nuevo Mundo de Caracas, Cleveland Ballet, and San Jose Ballet. She has performed all classic repertoire from Petipa to Fokine and Balanchine as well as modern works including Vicente Nebrada, Alvin Ailey, among many others. She began teaching at the Cleveland San Jose Ballet School and later, at the Nevada Ballet Theater and Ballet San Jose. Not only has Ms. Luana dedicated her teaching career specializing as a Ballet teacher for the very young students, but also as a teacher for the adult student. In 1995 she was awarded "Best Classical Ballerina" in Venezuela and she received the honor of the " City of Avignon " in France. Ms. Luana also serves as Ballet Mistress for our ballet company Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida for the outreach educational programs at the public schools of the area |

JELENA RADOJEVIC - ( Musical Kinder & Pre Ballet - Youth Ballet) Jelena Radojevic, born in Yugoslavia, Nova Sad, where she began her classical ballet training at the age of six at The Ballet School of Nova Sad along with Josip Slavenski Music School. She has studied with Ukrainian ballet pedagogues Vladimir Suvalov, Robert Klavin and Oksana Storozuk. After her graduation, she was accepted at The National Ballet Theater in Nova Sad as corps de ballet and soloist in classical and neoclassical performances, “Paquita”, “Giselle”, “Carmina Burana”, and “Ballet Inspiration”. Her desire to learn modern dance brought her to the New World School of the Arts, in Miami, where she performed works by Gerald Ebitz, Michael Uthoff, Jose Limon, and worked with ballet pedagogues Tina Santos, and Bambi Anderson. During her education she has attended many ballet competitions and seminars in Europe and in the United States. In June 2006 she received a Bachelor Degree of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Florida. She enjoys teaching classical ballet and choreographing for young dancers. |

OLGA MEKHONOSHINA - (Intermediate, Pre-Advanced & Advanced) Olga was born in Kudymkar, Russia. She received her ballet training and graduated from the renowned Perm State Choreographic Academy in 1995. She immediately joined the Grigorovich Ballet Theatre under the direction of Yuri Grigorovich. Ms. Olga performed in many ballets including Romeo and Juliet, Golden Age, Chipollino, Spartacus, and Raymonda touring with the company to Japan, Portugal, Lebanon and Spain. She joined Sarasota Ballet in 2002 where danced Paquita, Swan Lake and A Midsummer night's dream and a variety of roles. In July of 2008 Ms. Olga was invited to work as a guest teacher in Miami under direction Vladimir Issaev. She had opportunity to work with Russian Pedagogues from Vaganova Ballet Academy, Saint Petersburg, Russia. Ms. Olga joined the staff of Vladimir Issaev School of Classical Ballet in 2009. She also works as Ballet Mistress of Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida where she dances as a guest in soloist roles.

RAFAELA DULANTO ( Musical Kinder ) She started dancing at the age of 10. She has attended the Imperial Classical Ballet Seminar in the summer of 2001 and 2003. As a member of Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida she performed different roles in the Nutcracker which include “The Doll” and the “Chinese”. Other repertoire includes “ Ballet Concierto”, “ Shostakovich Suites” and "Glinka Suite Fantastique”. She has participated in every production of the company including the tour to Denmark and Poland. Ms. Rafaela started teaching the young students five years ago. She has taken the teacher's workshop conducted by Vladimir Issaev and the teachers from the Vaganova Ballet Academy of Russia. She is pursuing her Major in Culinary Arts and has recently received a scholarship to tour Italy during the summer of 2010. Ms. Rafaela will be back to teach ballet this coming fall to continue teaching her young students on Saturdays.

ANDREY KONKIN (Boy’s Class ) He is a graduate from the prestigious school of ballet of Perm in Russia. He started ballet in his hometown of Nishninovgorod, Russia. As a member of the Perm Opera Ballet Company, he traveled to Italy and China in their international tours. Andrey joined Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida in 2004. He has danced the principal roles in The Nutcracker, Chipollino, Firebird Shostakovich Suites and Glinka Suite. Andrey had the honor of being coached for the role of Le Spectre de la Rose by Mr. George Zoritch, legend of the Ballet Russes. He also danced at the International Ballet Festival in Poland in 2006. His repertoire also includes "Spring Waters" and "The Seasons". He has also performed with several other international ballet companies in the US and Puerto Rico. This is the second year Mr. Andrey has been teaching the boys division. |

LISA MALTSEVA ( Preparatory 1 & 2 - Ballet Beginners) Lisa was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She attended the Vaganova Ballet Academy and was trained by Elena Zabalkanskaya, and Elena Eveeva. Upon her graduation she joined the Mariinsky Ballet Theatre (The Kirov Ballet). She danced soloist roles in Don Quixote, Swan Lake, La Sylphide, La Bayadere and The Nutcracker and danced during the international tours of the company in London, France , Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, China, Finland, Mexico and the US. She also performed in Bangkok, for the Royal Family of Thailand. Ms. Lisa joined Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida in 2009 and has performed soloist roles in The Nutcracker ( Arabian Princess ) , Chipollino ( Countess Cherry ) and Harlequinade ( The Fairy ) this season. Ms. Lisa was invited to join Vladimir Issaev School of Classical Ballet in 2009. |

VALERIA VASILCHENKO (Musical Kinder-Assistant) - Valeria started dancing at the Norwegian Ballet Academy "Extend". Her family relocated to Miami when she was 13 years of age. Since then, she has danced in all of the productions of Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida and attended the Summer Intensive Program for the past three years. She has performed soloist roles in Fairy Doll and The Nutcracker for Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida. Ms Valeria started this year working as a teacher for the classes of the very young ones at our school Vladimir Issaev's School of Classical Ballet. |
